At Lakewood Ranch Pickleball Club, we offer a diverse range of leagues designed to cater to players of all skill levels. Our DUPR leagues are the perfect blend of competition and community, providing an environment where players can improve their skills while enjoying the friendly spirit of the game. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, you'll find a league that suits your pace and passion. Weekday League
This league is perfect for players who are retired or have a few hours to spare each week for engaging games that welcome all skill levels, from novices to seasoned competitors. Our format is built around the DUPR rating system, featuring team total ratings from 6.1 to 9.1 players! Each week, (Women on Wednesday's and Men’s on Thursday's) at noon, six players from each team will compete in a round robin format against another team at home or another Lakewood Ranch area community. Get ready for excitement, competition, and the thrill of securing a win for your team!
Saturday League
This League is designed for everyone, including those with busy weekday schedules! Every other Saturday, your community will come together to form teams featuring both men and women. They will compete in exciting matches, showcasing gender-specific and a special game format (the Picklebreaker) with mixed gender teams against other communities. The league is structured around players' DUPR ratings, ensuring balanced pairings with fellow competitors. With multiple divisions available based on team total ratings of less than 6.1, 7.1, 8.1 and 9.1, there's a perfect spot for every player.
PrimeTime League (New)
Introducing the LWR Pickleball Club 65+ PrimeTime DUPR League, designed specifically for seasoned players who have the skill, but want a more level playing field. If you’re tired of "track star" opponents getting to every ball simply because of a birth certificate, this is the league you’ve been searching for. Age-based on Dec. 31, 2026.
We are initially launching with two distinct divisions (for both men and women) to ensure competitive, balanced matches using the new DUPR "65+ age-based" rating:
- Division PT Low: 2.7 - 3.899 (Team Rating Max = 7.1)
- Division PT High: 3.4 - 4.999 (Team Rating Max = 9.1)
How It Works

Format: Each week, two lines (two doubles teams) will represent their squad in match play against other teams within the Lakewood Ranch area. If there's a tie at the end we're going to the Picklebreaker!

Location: We aim to organize by community. Your Captain's neighborhood will be your "Home Court." If not, we will group independent players together under a designated Captain.
We Need Captains!
Since this is our inaugural season, we are looking for leaders to help grow this league. If you’re organized and passionate about the game, we need you to step up as a Team Captain. We'll be there for you every step of the way if you need any help. Contact us to let us know you'd like to start a team!
How Do I Join a League?
Joining our Leagues, whether on weekdays or Saturdays, is a breeze and centered around community spirit. If you live in an area with pickleball courts, chances are there's a dedicated coordinator for the activity. Don't hesitate to reach out to them or connect with fellow players in your neighborhood to find the right contact. If you can't locate that person, or if your community doesn't have a team yet, just get in touch with us, and we'll do our best to connect you with the right individual.
League fees cover administrative coordination, scheduling, DUPR rating services, and league operations. They do not include court access or admission to any facility. Court time is arranged and paid for independently by team captains and players.
